Have you ever purchased an item and didn't see anyone rocking it until YOU coped it? But all along many of people had this item it's just that your focus wasn't on that item before and now you see it everywhere? Do you have buyers remorse and take the item back? 9 times out of 10 no! You ROCKED the hell outta that item like it was especially made for you! 

Same with being an eyelash extension artist, you knew there was a world filled with them but you didn't realize HOW many their were until YOU decided to join this wonderful industry right?! Well baby I'm here to tell you Nike isn't worried about Rebook and you shouldn't worry about another artist! STAY IN YOUR LANE AND RIDE IT UNTIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF! 

Well you may ask , how am I do to that when "Im just applying extensions" ?

First, find CONFIDENCE in your work, you'll be so busy focusing on you that you don't have to worry about the competitors , all you'll want to do is congratulate your fellow lash sister or brother (yes ladies men are joining the industry) because you know the struggle and sometimes it REAL baby!!  Remember Happy Folks ain't Hating!

Secondly , perfect YOUR craft. I know plenty of hair stylist around but not everyone can do every style , some can slay bobs to the gods and others can't! And that's fine! They market and promote the HECK out of what they have perfected!! Same with lashes! If you find a love for classic, SLAY those classic lashes baby, trust not everyone wants a full glam look! So PERFECT your craft!  PRACTICE!! 

Lastly, STAY IN YOUR LANE! Don't try to compare your work to another artist because everyone has their own learning style and level. Even the "GREATS" had to start from somewhere! Social media only allows you to see the BEST of something and not the worst! Being a lash artist isn't easy at all! From the hand cramps, back aches, eye strains, the left eye,  and many other factors but it's WORTH it! When your client wakes up and sees those lashes and are in awe!
